Worker Injured in Texas Construction Accident

A construction worker in Galveston, Texas filed a personal injury lawsuit against BP PSC Industrial Services Inc. and his employer, Gulf Coast Gunite., Inc., claiming he suffered personal injuries while at work. Joshua Gailley filed the lawsuit Nov. 4 following a construction accident May 20.

According to the lawsuit, Gailley, who was a contract worker, was working at a construction site, assigned to cleanup duty. During the course of work, Gailley alleges that a stack of replacement bricks fell on his head. The bricks fell 20 feet and landed on his head and neck.

Worker Claims he Sustained Permanent Injuries

Gailley was treated for serious injuries and claims he still suffers extreme pain in his back. According to medical reports, he was treated for serious bruises and abrasions on his back.

Gailley is suing the two companies for negligence. He is seeking financial compensation for medical bills, lost wages, long-term disfigurement of his back and mental anguish.
